Anyone wishing to be considered for a press pass must fill out and submit this application no later than September 30, 2011. Please indicate if you will be attending as a photographer, writer, or both. You are encouraged to submit an application as early as possible, as the closer it gets to the event, the more competition there will be for a pass. You will be notified of your status within two weeks of submitting the application, and you may be required to provide more information to finalize the process.
Press passes will only be awarded to legitimate sources of entertainment news. If you fail to provide enough information on this application to easily verify the news source, your application will automatically be denied. While we always welcome new members to our press pool, preference will be given to those who have attended the festival in the past and have published news stories or photographs of the event.
A very limited number of film crews will be granted permission to work at Harvest. Additional rules and requirements apply. Please fill out the same application, and be very specific regarding your intentions for the work that you will produce. Once all of our needs for film crews are filled, all other applications will be denied; the deadline does not apply to film crews.
Freelancers who do not have a specific news outlet for whom they will be working will be denied. Press access will be limited according to the needs of the festival and performers at the time of the event, and are subject to change. Any application may be denied for any reason. Good luck!
